Hello and welcome to 1 Choice 4 Quilting.

I started sewing in my grandfather’s tailor shop when I was about five years old. I would play with the scraps he had and create anything from barbie and doll clothes, to my own clothes as I got older.

I used to love going with him to the fabric market in Philadelphia where we would choose gorgeous fabrics to make suits for men.

On the other hand my grandmother quilted. I always loved the bright colors and patterns and how they were intricately woven together to create a masterpiece. To me they were both artists.

While in college after a few years away from sewing, I realized how much I missed it so I went home, picked up my sewing machine, went to the fabric store and purchased several yards of sunflower print resulting in my first beautiful quilt.

Since then I've been quilting and sewing everything from clothes to costumes to quilts of course of all shapes and sizes.

With 1 Choice 4 Quilting, I now get to share my love for fabric, quilting, sewing and the artistry of it all with all of you. I also have the added bonus of teaching my daughter who already has taken such great interest.

Although I love the local fabric stores, there are none close to me and I know how busy life can get.

My goal is help people find the time to quilt and feel that they are an important customer, by carrying great, quality fabrics on an easy to navigate website with the best customer service possible!
